Made to Be Different.
It’s easy to blend in with a crowd. It’s easy to try to fit in. It’s easy to be like everyone else. We are told to “just be you” and “stand out from the crowd” in our culture today…
But the truth is, we are being told to stand out by fitting in. Certain kinds of “different” wouldn’t be accepted- and some would be downright condemned.
Made to Shine.
As a follower of Jesus, being different is why I am here. Our purpose as Christians is to proclaim the gospel with our lives, to share the Truth in love with everyone around us. Our purpose is to be lights in the world: something that stands out, brilliantly, from the surrounding darkness, something that shines the Light.
The call is not an easy one- but what an adventure is the life committed fully to God!
